High School Students

As a high school student, you are at an ideal place in your life to explore a healthcare career. If you have already decided the medical field is for you, now is also a great time to discover different specializations you might pursue. Through FDRHPO, there are many programs and incentives designed to support your career exploration. No matter your level of interest in the medical field – from curious to serious, there is a program to aid in your discovery process.

Job Shadow Program

In the Job Shadow experience, a high school student will shadow professionals for 30 hours and meet with a Case Manager on a weekly basis. Students may also have the advantage of being paid for their internship. Learn more and apply here!

Health Scholar Program

In the Health Scholar experience, a high school student will shadow professionals for up to 100 hours and meet with a Case Manager on a weekly basis. Students may also have the advantage of being paid for their internship. Learn more and apply here!
