Committee Goals
One of the primary goals of the technology committee is the North Country Telemedicine Project, a regional initiative to create a fiber optic telecommunications /telemedicine network that will connect healthcare sites operating in Jefferson, Lewis and St. Lawrence Counties in New York and four urban facilities located in Syracuse and Utica that provide consultative and specialty care which is prepared to deploy emerging electronic medical record and telemedicine applications.
