Community Commitment In Action
Ensuring Access to the Best Medical Professionals
A long-term recruitment project includes almost $1 million to increase the number of medical and behavioral healthcare professionals within our community.
Over $84 million in facility upgrades completed, underway or planned for the five hospitals within the Fort Drum Region.
Expanded Behavioral Health Resources
Four new behavioral health clinics have been established along with additional support resources. New York state has provided an annual commitment targeted towards supportive services for Soldiers and their Families. Under the FDRHPO pilot program, the number of TRICARE-credentialed behavioral health providers serving the Fort Drum region has increased from 39 to 109.
To ensure continued quality and a wide range of services for our Soldiers and their Families, a satisfaction survey system has been created.
Enhanced Emergency Medical Service
The EMS projects includes a new landing zone project, $150,000+ in NYS grants, and optimizing EMS infrastructure.
The Latest Technology
Cutting-edge technology – such as fiber infrastructure at 30 healthcare sites – will mean more accurate, timely, and convenient communication. The $6.8 million HEAL 10 project will create a community-wide electronic health record.
