From Katie Leonka, Glens Falls Emergency Medicine Administrative Coordinator
Emergency Medicine:
When using Pulsara, please upload your images under “Chief Complaint / Notes” — this makes them much easier to locate.
Going forward, we recommend that you start using the photo method for EKGs and vital signs — it’s quick and effective. If possible, please also include a photo of the patient’s ID. Registration is now pre-registering patients directly from Pulsara, and having that image helps move the process along faster, so you can get back out in the field more quickly.
Please continue to include a clear chief complaint. Be specific — for example:
• Instead of “Fall,” write Fall – 50 ft off a ladder
• Instead of “Chest pain,” write Chest pain – kicked by a horse
• Instead of “Stroke,” write STROKE – LKW 0800
Thank you for helping streamline communication and patient registration!
