Clarkson University's Paramedic program is changing from a full-time 9-month program to a 1-year program. To better explain this type of program, the School of Health and Life Sciences EMS Department will be conducting THREE open houses over the next four weeks: Wednesday, October 29, at 6:30 PM Tuesday, November 4th, at 6:30 PM Wednesday November 19th, at 6:30 PM For more information about Clarkson’s Paramedic Program, click here .

The Division of State EMS has released new regulations with updated requirements related to equipment, general waivers, and emergency ambulance service vehicles have been enacted as of October 22, 2025. Please review the full document:

All Online and Intern ALS Technicians (AEMT, Critical Care, and Paramedic) are required to complete this form annually by 1/31. If your Online or Intern Status began after July 1st, you are only responsible for completing half of the required CME’s and Skills. To download the form CLICK HERE.

The New York State Department of Health and the NYC Health Department have released guidance about acetaminophen (Tylenol®) being a safe and recommended pain reliever and fever reducer during pregnancy when used as directed.
